Safety Expectations for All Visitors
- Maintain physical distance. Keep at least 6 feet from people not in your group whenever possible.
- Practice hand hygiene. Wash or sanitize your hands frequently while inside the facility.
- Understand the risks. As with any public space, there is a possibility of exposure to illness while visiting.
Exceptions & Special Circumstances
WCMH is currently allowing visitors in all facilities except for patients in isolation due to COVID-19.
Some departments may have additional restrictions based on patient care needs or infection control guidelines.
Please follow posted signs and staff instructions when visiting these areas.
If you are unsure about visiting a particular department, call ahead to confirm visiting hours and unit-specific rules.
Before You Visit
- If you are experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, or other symptoms of illness, please do not visit.
- Follow any instructions from the patient’s care team when you arrive — such as visitor screening, check-in logs, or designated entrances.
