Expressing your gratitude helps WCMH celebrate our dedicated team and the difference they make every day.

Why Thank-Yous Matter

  • Patients and families often remark how meaningful it is to let our caregivers know they’re appreciated.
  • Thank‐you notes, cards, or gifts (within policy) help foster a positive culture of recognition.
  • Especially when a staff member, department or volunteer has made your experience better — your words can make a big difference.

Ways to Say “Thank You”

  • Send a note or card to the staff member or department.
  • Share your story or experience with us — we may highlight it in our newsletter or on our website.
  • Consider a “Gift of Gratitude” (via the Foundation’s giving page) honouring a caregiver or team you’d like to recognize.
  • For families who want to support the hospital further, pairing a thank-you with a gift or memorial is a meaningful option.
